Graduated from the National Law Academy of Ukraine named after I. Wise; National Institute of Arts of Indonesia, specialty - traditional Javanese graphics and fabric painting. In 2001, he won a prize at the Non Stop Media international art festival, which was the impetus for the beginning of his career.

Since 2004, he has been engaged in photography professionally. Since 2008, he has been working with advertising agencies (DDB Ukraine, Leo Burnett Ukraine, Lime) and is a freelance journalist for several publications. Since 2018, he regularly cooperates with the New York Times and T-Magazine.
